I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when Meat Loaf walked onto that stage! For those of you who, like Kat McPhee, have never HEARD of Meat Loaf...do yourself a favor and go buy "Bat out of Hell" immediately, if not sooner.

OPI Nail Color is donating $1 to the Red Cross for every bottle of their 25th anniversary polish "Red-y to Help" sold. I picked one up today at ULTA, but nail salons may also carry it. The color rocks, and it's for a good cause! Pedi, anyone?

After almost a week of hospitalization and extensive testing, x-rays, ultrasound, berium series, etc., we decided to go to surgery yesterday morning on my kitty. The culprit was an audiotape that wrapped around the base of his tongue and extended down to a ball in his small intestine. The intestine perforated but the surgery was successful and he should be able to come home tomorrow. His "intestine contents" are in the bag next to the cassette that the tape came from. Ten days and $2250 later, kitty will recover! YAY!

On my wish list right now...a full recovery for my kitty. When we came home Friday night he was lying in a heap on the floor, listless. We spent all night in the vet emergency clinic, and he is now with a feline specialist. There was a glimmer of hope this evening, so I am hoping he will survive. GET WELL GREEBS!
