Cole Haan "ANNETTE" gloves in luggage...nappa leather, braided leather trim, cashmere lining and cuff. I fell in love with these the moment I saw them in a fall preview, and I have been checking the Cole Haan site for these daily and FINALLY they are available for order (DONE!). Also available in dark brown and black.

I did see Carrie's commercial (although when I first read "Carrie" I thought Carrie Bradshaw...that's telling, eh?). Bo just got married and is getting ready to have a baby. Carrie is growing on me. She's not a great singer, but I do like that "Inside Your Heaven" song or whatever it is called.
I will see what I can find in the way of bras and panties to show on the blog, although it is not my metier. Was not aware you were shopping for these items. Is there something you want to tell us? I did just order some, though...if it makes you feel better.
Oh my..I just got a flashback with these gloves. By any chance do you remember those boots from Esprit, circa 1985, which were a beautiful tan leather and had the tweed knit sweater peeking out from the top of the mouth. I had those when I was 13 or 14 (of course I am totally dating myself), but those were my first shoe obsession. I remember that when they started getting knocked off by the cheap stores 2-3 years later, in my rebellious nature, I cut off the sweater material and then dyed the boots black. They were just wonderful! Going back to these gloves, they are lovely and would be cool with a tweedy trim like my nostalgia boots.
I don't recall the boots, although it sounds like we are about the same age. But I totally love that you found your own way to "revamp" them and recreate your style!
These gloves look amazing. Last year I bought a pair of lilac gloves from Coach (leather outer/cashmere lining) with the little grommet belting at the cuff, and a pair of chocolate suede with shearling lining with a longer wrist and the grommet belt from them as well. I love them both, but I HAD to have these as soon as I saw them.
Ruffian, if you are going to buy your "better half" something, why not get her something she can use outside the bedroom. A wonderful cashmere sweater or a new pair of leather gloves is a lovely gift for a special lady. And she might keep them on for more than three minutes.
Now what would your "better half" think if I were to model bras and panties for you?
