I am a Manhattan girl currently trapped in Oklahoma. It is "T minus about two years" before my reprieve. In the meantime I must vent my frustrations at the lack of Sephora, Tiffany, Brownstones, the subway system, and virtually everything else NYC.

I received the Scout in gold, and it's even better than the biscotti. This one is for keeps! I already sent the biscotti back to NYC.
New for Fall is the Nuovo Scout, which comes in 4 colors...black, luggage brown, dark green, and bordeaux leather. You can preview this bag in the current issue of People magazine. The picture is pretty small, and I was told this Scout has no straps and has a perforated "H" on the center bottom of the flap. Has anyone actually seen the new Scout?

I think her outfit is cute. As for the new Scout, I did see the one in People and was not impressed. It has also been in another magazine that came out about a month ago, but I cannot recall which one. Probably Bazaar. It's just a plain leather messenger bag...not strikingly different like the current Scouts.

The Fall Scout sure doesn't look anything special, I agree. Especially for $745 at that.
What do you use to condition your Scout bag...Would the Coach leather conditioner do?
I have not used anything as yet...I guess I should call and ask them about it.
