I know you guys are not happy unless you have a fashion decision before you...and I am all about accommodating my readers...so how do we like this bag either on its own or as compared to the Chloe bag? (No, I have STILL not made a decision yet)

Chris, you ever going to tell us what TOWN you're from? Just curious because I was born-did in Ft. Smith and had family from the Bergman/Harrison area.

Harrison!! I drive to NEA a few times a year. I go threw Harrison and never stop there. No, im not black, but its just the people there and the history of that area(not saying that your family or everyone there is like that). And that sign... "Born in these hills Gonna stay in these hills"

(Harrison, AR. Did you know. Most of the Parking meters in the united states are made right in Harrison. And the very first one, if I remember right, came from Harrison and went to tulsa oklahoma)

I am from Rogers, AR. Im living in Rogers right now too. In a few weeks I will be moving to Springdale, AR. I'll be living right on the edge of Fayetteville. Right north of the mall. But on the Fayetteville lake. Not quite Fayetteville but cheeper rent.

When I move my comments will be few and far between. YES YES I know you all will miss me and my opinions so much. But lets remember the good times.....

Sorry, Chris parking meter might be made in NWA but it was invented in Oklahoma (I believe at OSU, I didn't want to read all of that).

And the last time I was in Harrison was 9 years ago. My parents are a little bit prejudice (i.e., they'd freak out if I married a non-white), but my grandparents and beyond, OMG! WAY racist! I'll miss you when you move. Just remember that public libraries almost always have free internet access. And great movies.

Rob, I have no idea who that woman is. Her name is apparently Cat Deeley, but does not ring a bell for me. You can have her, I'm sure.

Chris, WHAT??? Leaving us? I will be expecting a certain photograph before your departure. See to it. = )

Rachel, the bag is the Balenciaga motorcycle bag. I didn't want to put that on the pic because of possible name searching -- someone STOLE my Chloe bag pic (from the magazine) and used it in her eBay listing.

Thank you Rachel for the information. If im going to have all this stuff in my head(usless knowledge) it might as well be right.

-------
Although it is sometimes disputed, Carl C. Magee, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is generally credited with originating the parking meter. He filed for a patent for a "coin controlled parking meter" May 13, 1935. The patent, #2,118,318, was issued May 24, 1938.
-------
(I must have heard the other side of the disputed story)

Harrison, AR is the leading manufacturer of parking metters.

The world's first installed parking meter was in Oklahoma City, on July 16, 1935. (not tulsa)

With that said. Im still not stoping in Harrison. Ever. There are few things in life that I cant tolerate. Racism being on the top of that list. Second would have to be people that dont know how to use the damn TURN LANES.

Well, I'm sad to hear it (about the picture). But until we all see some physical evidence there will be questions. If you want to send one at Halloween and it's good, we'll post it on the old blog and let people give comments. = )

And I'm in, as it were, the patent business.
