Definitely old feeling for you. It's the gold clasp thingy.
The leather is beautiful, but there isn't much *zing* to this bag, if you know what I mean. I usually prefer something slightly more showy.
I do know what you mean...both of you. The leather is fabulous, but the shape and the "flair" just don't quite measure up. Still, I have to have some small fall-fashion straws to grasp until the heavy hitters come out!
CrankyBiscuit, have you seen the bag that Beyonce is carrying in recent photos? It is VERY showy. I have e-mailed the maker and they can make it for me, but I have not gotten a price from them as yet. I may post that one next.
This is what I call a "lady bag"..something the wife of a head of state would carry. I am surprised because Tods is so forward thinking in its design...I guess they are trying to win back an older, richer type of customer.
With their prices, they will need one!
